Moving to Facebook for 2011 Season

I’ve moved most of the details from here to a facebook group (using their new group functionality).  For this next season rather than have me enter the results manually I’m hoping athletes or others can enter the details from the races into the documents I’ve created in the group.

Also, anyone who takes photos at the meets can post them directly to the group, allowing others to view them.

I think I’ll have to approve anyone who wants to join, although you can view the group without joining.

Girls finish 9th, Boys 10th

Great races everyone!  The top finisher for the girls was Madi Sachs who finished 17th at 15:26.2. The top finisher for the boys was Seth Hare who finished 55th at 17:21.2.

Albany wins both section 6A races

Both the boys and girls teams won their races yesterday!  You can see the details of the results on the Section Page.

This means both teams will be going to the State Meet on November 6th, the third year in a row!

Section meet Thursday (10/28)

This Thursday the section meet is in New London-Spicer at 4PM.  You can find more details on the Section Meet page.

At this meet only the varsity teams compete.

Conference results posted

The conference results are posted on the Conference page along with some pictures from the meet.

From my count we had an amazing 7 runners earn All Conference honors (top 14).

Sartell Junior High Classic Results are up

Conference meet is Tuesday (10/19) at Mora

The next meet is the Conference meet, this will be the last meet that the junior high and JV runners will compete.  Top 14 in the varsity races earn “All Conference” honors.

Tomorrow’s meet in Albany

The meet tomorrow (October 12th)  is in Albany, you can find details on the Albany Invitational page.

Before the meet there will be a “fun run” for younger athletes.  I believe that starts at 3:45PM.

Albany boys and girls Varsity place 1st at Sauk Centre

Both varsity teams placed first at Sauk Centre.  I don’t have details yet, the following was from the St. Cloud Times:

Senior Mike Kluver of Sauk Centre won the boys race with a time of 17:30. Madi Sachs of Albany won the girls race in 15:31.

Boys team scores — 1. Albany 44; 2. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle 46; 3. Sauk Centre 63; 4. Rocori 101; 5. Staples-Motley 113; 6. Pierz 167.

Girls team scores — 1. Albany 36; 2. Sauk Centre 60; 3. Staples-Motley 91; 4. Pierz; 5. Rocori 106; 6. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle 120.
